"I usually buy two pairs of thongs every summer and just wear through them. That is clearly not going to happen with these."— from a GripTide wear-test review
One solid pair beats a drawer full of cheap ones. That's the whole idea.

Questions Guys Actually Ask
Will they really grip on wet surfaces?
That's the whole point. The outsole is thick rubber with a deep, tennis-shoe-style tread — the exact thing a flat-bottom thong doesn't have. Wet pool decks, docks, boat ramps: the tread is built to hold.
What makes these different from a regular flip-flop?
Three things you can see the second you pick one up: a thick, cushioned sole instead of a thin foam sheet, a contoured footbed with built-in arch support, and a real rubber tread on the bottom. Regular flip-flops have none of the three.
Can I wear them in the water?
Yes — they're made for it. The straps are quick-dry neoprene, so they don't stay soggy, and the sandals themselves float. Pool, lake, beach: go ahead.
Won't a thick sole feel heavy or stiff?
No. The footbed is cushioned with just enough give to stay comfortable — substantial underfoot without feeling like a brick. It still slips on and off like any flip-flop.
What colors do they come in?
Three colors, including the khaki shown across this page. Pick your color at the top of the page.
What about shipping and returns?
Shipping is free, tracked, and insured. If they're not for you, returns are free and you're covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Live In Flip-Flops
I've never owned flip-flops with tread like this. Wet pool deck, boat ramp, doesn't matter — they hold. You could climb a hill in these things.
First thing you notice is how thick the sole is. These aren't the flat foam things from the gas station. Cushioned, arch support you can actually feel, and they still slip on like any flip-flop.
Flip-flops are the official footwear where I live. The neoprene straps dry fast so I'm not walking around in soggy sandals all afternoon. My go-to pair now.
The toe strap needed a short break-in, but after a couple days they're the most comfortable sandals I own. The grip on wet tile is the real seller for me.
Wore my first pair basically daily all season and liked them enough to grab the black ones too. Well made, sturdy, and the sole texture keeps your foot from sliding when wet.
Dock, boat, patio — I wear them everywhere. They dry off fast and I've stopped thinking twice about wet steps. Khaki looks sharp too.
Good cushion, good arch, and the tread is no joke. Only wish there were more colors, but the three they have all look good.
Thick cushioned sole, real support, and they float — found that out the fun way at the pool. Couldn't go back to flat thongs after these.
Between the sprinklers and the pool, my patio is wet half the summer. These hold where my old pair used to skate. Shipping was quick and free like they said.
